Michigan Voters Have A New Way To Apply For An Absentee Ballot

Michigan voters now have another way to apply for an absentee ballot.

Voters who are blind, or suffer from other disabilities, can now submit an accessible absent voter ballot application online.

Be prepared to submit your driver’s license or state ID card, if you use this platform.

Voters who request this ballot for the August 4th primary election, will be emailed an electronic ballot, which can be filled out, using their assistive technology.

Once the ballot is filled out, the voter can print it, and get it back to the clerk’s office by 8pm on August 4th.

There is also an application, which does not require a driver’s license or state ID.

This application requires the last four digits of your social security number, and can also be mailed or dropped off to your clerk’s office.
