Michigan Tech’s Board of Trustees Meets Today

Michigan Tech’s Board of Trustees is holding its regular meeting this morning in the Memorial Union Building on campus.

The agenda includes awarding the Melvin Calvin Medal of Distinction and the Board of Trustees Silver Medal.

An honorary doctorate will also be recommended for Keith Creagh, a Tech alumnus and director of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.

Three employees will be recognized for 36, 37 and 39 years of service.

The Board will also consider a 5-year state capital outlay plan and fiscal year 2018 capital project request.

The plan and project request are required to be submitted to the State of Michigan this fall.
