Michigan Tech Participates In Voter Registration Day

Tuesday is National Voter Registration Day, with thousands of national, state and local organizations and volunteers doing their best to register voters, for November’s upcoming election.

Michigan Tech will be doing their part.

Tech’s efforts will be led by their Undergraduate Student Government, Student Leadership and Involvement and several faculty members. Zach Olson, USG’s Political Affairs Committee chair, who was also recently named to the Campus Election Engagement Project, will help lead Michigan Tech’s participation this year.

Tuesday’s activities take place from noon til 3pm.

An area next to the Husky statue will be where you can register to vote, check your voter registration or request an absentee ballot.

Houghton City Clerk Ann Vollrath will be on hand to answer questions as well.

Masks and social distancing will be required.
