Michigan Tech Means Business With Two Upcoming Events

Michigan Tech is hosting two upcoming events that will showcase what their business students have been working on.

The first is the KHOB Economic Outlook Report, an annual report focusing on the economic performance of Keweenaw, Houghton, Ontonagon, and Baraga counties.  This presentation will be led by students and faculty in the School of Business and Economics at the MEEM Room 111 Thurs., Nov. 29 7:30-8:30 p.m..

The campus community and the public is invited to learn about socioeconomic data for the four-county area, including local average wages per sector and most relevant industries.  A question and answer session will follow the presentation.

On December 10th, the School of Business and Economics invites aspiring business leaders on campus for the Husky Den competition.

More than 25 students from Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois will participate in a variety of leadership evaluations during the two-day experience.  Ultimately, they are competing for a full in-state tuition award to study a business major at Michigan Tech.

The competition takes place from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the MUB Ballrooms.
