Michigan Tech Looks For Opportunities In Norther Lower Michigan

Michigan Tech is branching out into the northern Lower Peninsula through an agreement with community leaders in the Grand Traverse area to explore and develop collaborative opportunities in the region.

A three-year Memorandum of Understanding was signed earlier this month that will help establish a presence in an area viewed by Michigan Tech as tech-forward, creative, and industry-rich.

A relationship with Michigan Tech is expected to draw new businesses and residents to the Grand Traverse area.

The Memorandum of Understanding outlines both parties’ commitment to communicating and coordinating on collaborative educational and research projects.
