World War I & The Copper Country’s Symposium, Armistice & Aftermath, kicks off Friday, Sept. 28 with free, not-to-miss events open to the public.
The two-day symposium includes a number of events throughout the Houghton-Hancock community to honor the centenary end of the Great War.
Presenters from around the country and world will speak about the conditions and impacts of the war on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 8:00-3:45 in the Memorial Union Ballroom at Michigan Technological University.
Michigan K-12 teachers are eligible to receive education credits by registering.
