Michigan’s Department of Transportation has released the latest numbers concerning deaths and seriously injured motorists on Michigan roadways.
This past week, 34 people died on Michigan roads, for a year to date total of 633.
There were also 142 motorists seriously injured, for a year to date total of 3,026.
Compared to the same time last year, there are 37 more fatalities and 392 fewer seriously injured motorists.
Statistics were provided by the Michigan State Police.
