Michigan’s Department of Transportation, with statistics provided by the Michigan State Police, released the latest update on Michigan roads.
During the second week of April, six motorists died on Michigan roadways, for a total of 185 for the year.
Fifty motorists were also seriously injured, bringing the year to date total to 932.
This same time last year, Michigan saw 42 more fatalities, with 196 more seriously injured motorists.
