MDOT Pushes Back Quincy Street Expectations To This Afternoon

As work on the Michigan Department of Transportation’s US-41 (Reservation and Quincy streets) streetscape project winds down, traffic in downtown Hancock will revert to normal flow later today.

The traffic change had been expected this morning.

Final pavement markings are now expected to be completed today, with one-way northbound traffic resuming on Reservation and Quincy streets late this afternoon or tonight.

Traffic on the Hancock Street detour route will revert to one-way southbound traffic.

Motorists should use caution when driving through the area as the normal traffic patterns are re-established.
