The Portage Lake Lift Bridge, is scheduled for maintenance Tuesday Night, into Wednesday Morning, which will require bridge lifts throughout the night.
MDOT will be greasing bridge cables after 11pm Tuesday, until 6am Wednesday.
The bridge lifts will take up to 30 minutes each, and will disrupt vehicle, bike and foot traffic.
The scheduled maintenance is also dependent on the weather, and may be adjusted if need be.
