MDHHS Expands Rapid Response Staffing Resources Program

Michigan’s Department of Health and Human Services is expanding their Rapid Response Staffing Resources program, which offers assistance to long term care facilities who have staffing shortages due to COVID-19.

The newly expanded program offers up to 120 hours of staffing to facilities in any part of the state.

New staffing options include LPN’s, social workers, direct care workers, dietary aides and environmental services.

This is in addition to RN’s, CNA’s and resident care assistants.
