A portion of a Marquette County snowmobile trail has been closed because of logging in the area.
The stretch of Trail Five connects Trails 14 and 310 southwest of Big Bay. The closure is expected to last through the end of January.
An alternate route is available via Trails 310 and 14 through Big Bay. The reroute will add additional travel miles to snowmobiler trips.
