One man is dead after what is being described as an accidental shooting in Powell Township.
Troopers from the Michigan State Police Negaunee Post were dispatched to N 1311 County Road KCI around 9:22pm Wednesday.
Medical personnel transported a 21 year old male from County Road KCI, to Marquette General Hospital.
The male was later pronounced dead at Marquette General Hospital.
No other details were released. This incident remains under investigation.
There is no ongoing threat to public safety resulting from this incident.
The Michigan State Police Negaunee Post was assisted by personnel from the MSP Crime Labs out of Marquette and Grayling, as well as Powell Township EMS and UP Health Systems.
