Marquette County Highway Projects Begin Today

Two Marquette County highway construction projects are scheduled to begin today.

Contractors will rebuild US-41/M-28 from the Front Street roundabout south to Furnace Street.

The six-tenths-of-a-mile rebuild will cost $3.7 million.

One lane will usually be left open for traffic, but occasional detours may be necessary through late October.

The second project will resurface three miles of US-41 from the M-28 intersection near Harvey south to Big Creek Road.

The $3 million project will involve alternating single-lane traffic through early September.
