Representative Greg Markkanen, from Hancock, has announced he will seek re-election.
In a press release sent out late last night, Markkanen said that he helped accomplish much needed help for hardworking Yoopers, but that his work has just begun.
He also stated he was ready to roll up his sleeves, and help Michigan rebuild its economy, while keeping Governor Whitmer’s aggressive power use in check.
Before serving in the House of Representatives, Markkanen served in the US Army, and was a teacher in the Copper Country.
