Main Street Calumet Market to Continue This Fall

The Main Street Calumet Farmers Market held its final summer session last Saturday, but participants aren’t ready to give it up.

Organizers are planning to extend the market’s run at an indoor location through December 19th.

The market will set up at the Drill House Rink, which is used by the Copper Country Curling Club in the winter, but is not committed at other times of the year. It will run from 11:00 until 3:00 beginning this Saturday, and will be called the Main Street Calumet Cool Season Market.

Many of the vendors who have been part of the summer market will continue. Food vendors will offer produce, as long as it’s available, and some plan to add prepared foods and baked goods. Some craft vendors will also be participating.

All attendees must wear face coverings and maintain social distancing. Attendance will be limited per COVID-19 guidelines.

If you would like to be a vendor, email marketmanager@mainstreetcalumet.com.

Learn more about the market at its Facebook and Instagram pages.
