Main Street Calumet Hosting Community Meeting

Main Street Calumet is hosting a community gathering Wednesday at the Keweenaw Heritage Center at St. Anne’s Church.

The meeting will begin at 6pm and will include pizza and cake to celebrate the anniversary of the incorporation of the Village of Calumet on March 19, 1875.

Updates from community leaders will be as follows;

· Main Street Calumet, Executive Director Leah Polzien, 2017 Membership Package

· KEDA Director, Jeff Ratcliffe, Bring Back Calumet effort and recent MSHDA grant

· Keweenaw National Historical Park Superintendent, Wyndeth Davis

· Calumet Township Supervisor, Paul Lehto

· Calumet Historic District Commission Member, Chris Green

· Village of Calumet President, Dave Geisler, Village update and introduction of new Village Administrator, Joe Snow
