Long-time Calumet Village Employee To Be Honored By Dianda

A long-time employee of the Village of Calumet will be honored next week by State Representative Scott Dianda.

After 43-years working at the Village Hall, Dominic Zubiena is retiring.

A press release from Dianda’s office says Zubiena began working for the Village of Calumet in 1971 for the Street Department.

Dianda will present Zubiena with a tribute signed by Governor Rick Snyder and other lawmakers for his years of service to the citizens of Calumet.

The presentation will take place during the Village of Calumet Council meeting on Tuesday, August 16th, at 7pm.
