A local ski resort has again found itself ranked among America’s favorites.
Mount Bohemia finished third in the national voting for the USA Today Readers’ Choice Awards. It’s the fifth straight year the resort near Lac La Belle has placed in the top five.
The 620-acre resort has earned a reputation as a top destination for extreme skiers, with 273 inches of snow each winter, Michigan’s tallest vertical drop, and Michigan’s longest run.
It was the only Midwest resort to make the top 10, and one of only two east of the Mississippi River.
