As we come up on the two year anniversary of the Father’s Day Flood, local construction worker Keith Sever remembers it well.
As a result of that, Sever and his wife have decided to help out the residents of Midland, as they deal with their entire town being under water, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sever is collecting donations this week, and will then take them down to Midland this weekend, and stay for a couple days to help out.
Sever is collecting donations of pretty much anything shovels, buckets, clothes and food, someone, down there will put it to good use.
Snacks for volunteers are also needed.
Donations can be dropped off at Diamond House International in Houghton.
A link with their address is here.
