The COVID-19 flare-ups in Gogebic and Ontonagon Counties seem to be cooling down.
The latest report from the Western Upper Peninsula Health Department includes just four new confirmed cases across the five-county region since Monday.
Ontonagon County has two of those. Baraga County has one, along with two new probable positives. Gogebic County has one, along with one probable positive. Nine recoveries have been confirmed in Gogebic County. Houghton County has two new probable positives.
