• In Keweenaw County, 552 requests have been received this year, compared to 124 in 2016 – a nearly 450 percent increase.
• In Ontonagon County, 1,547 requests have come in this year, compared to 419 four years ago – a 370 percent increase.
• In Baraga County, 1,434 requests have been processed this year, compared to just 34 in 2016 – a 4,200 percent increase.

Statewide, more than 2.3 million absentee ballot requests have been submitted for the November election.
