The Lake Linden-Hubbell Board of Education made some personnel moves at its meeting on Monday.
Superintendent Brad Codere said they accepted the resignation of elementary aide Wendi Heikka, and hired Kendra Nielson to replace her. Leon Sutherland was confirmed as girls junior varsity basketball coach.
The board also saluted four musicians who took part in the U.P. All Star Band on Saturday – May Amelia Shapton, Melissa Wagner, Aimee Gherna and Mya Ghazale.
