Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly will hold a food drive this Saturday.
Non-perishable donations may be dropped off in advance at many local food stores, or dropped off at the Little Brothers office in Hancock between 10:00 and 6:00.
Houghton and Hancock residents can also leave donations in clearly marked bags on their porches.
Carol Korpela from Little Brothers says they will be picked up by members of Lambda Chi Alpha.
Korpela said, “We are having our annual North American food drive and thanks to Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity that they have made this a tradition for the past 20 years, and so what we do is we collect food all day Saturday, and that’s food that we will distribute to our elderly friends all year long.”
