Little Brothers Finalizes Thanksgiving Meal Plans

Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly is finalizing plans for the free Thanksgiving dinners they will be serving to local seniors tomorrow.

After two years of delivery-only service caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Cathy Kass-Aten says six sit-down sites will be reopened for the holiday…

Sacred Heart Church in Calumet, Church of the Resurrection in Hancock, St. Ignatius in Houghton, the Elks Club in Marquette, Holy Family in Ontonagon, and St. Ann’s Church in Baraga.

Kass-Aten reports that their meal delivery schedule for tomorrow is filled. There may be some room at the sit-down locations, where meals will be served at 2:00. Call the Little Brothers office in Hancock today at 482-6944 to make a reservation.

Some volunteers are still needed to help with the effort. Call the Little Brothers office, or visit their website to find out how you can help.
