Little Brothers Easter Dinners Planning Continues

Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly continues to put the finishing touches on their plans to provide Easter dinners to hundreds of area seniors on Sunday. Meals will be served at 2:00 at St. Ignatius Church in Houghton, the Church of the Resurrection in Hancock, Sacred Heart Church in Calumet, the Horizons School in Mohawk, Grace Lutheran Church in South Range, the Doelle Senior Center in Tapiola, St. Anne’s Church in Baraga , and Holy Family Church in Ontonagon. If you’re 60 or older, and are planning to attend, Little Brothers’ Cathy Aten says they’d appreciate knowing about it in advance, so they can enough food at each site. You can call 482-6944 to let them know you’ll be attending, or to set up a delivery. Volunteers are still needed, especially to deliver meals to homebound seniors. Call 482-6944 to pitch in.
