Lift Bridge Lane Closure Planned for Thursday

Traffic will be restricted on the Houghton-Hancock Bridge for a while Thursday.

The outside northbound lane will be shut down so the Michigan Department of Transportation can install equipment to count traffic on the bridge.

The slowdown will begin at 9:00 Thursday morning, and is expected to last several hours.
