A new satellite location for the Life Outreach Center of Houghton County will be opening this month in Baraga County.
The new center is located in the St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry building, on Broad Street in L’Anse, and will be open Tuesdays from noon- 8 pm, and on Thursdays from noon- 5 pm.
Services at Life Outreach Baraga County include free pregnancy tests and information on choices, as well as mentoring for pregnant and parenting individuals and couples.
It also offers the “Earn While You Learn” rewards program, which enables clients to get free diapers, baby wipes, gas cards and other practical parenting supplies by participating in video learning modules.
The center will open its doors to the public on Tuesday, May 14, at noon, with an Open House scheduled that day from 4 pm – 7 pm.
