The latest stats on COVID-19 from the Western Upper Peninsula Health Department.
Gogebic County has six new positive cases, along with three probable cases, which are treated as positives.
Houghton County has four new positives and Ontonagon County has a new case as well.
Baraga County has reported three recoveries, and Houghton County has two.
With the new cases, the Western Upper Peninsula now has 81.
Making matters worse, PPE chains, which were caught up, are beginning to experience slow downs again.
Now, agencies requesting PPE must provide proof they’ve contacted suppliers and been denied, in order to request PPE by the county from the state.
