The Village of L’Anse officially enters the solar power business today.
L’Anse Electric Utility customers have the opportunity to purchase panels that have been installed in the Lambert Road Industrial Park.
Village Manager Bob LaFave says the value of the power produced by those panels will be subtracted from the owners’ electrical bills…
Assistance programs are also available for low-income homeowners…
The ribbon-cutting will take place at 2:00, and will be followed by a short program.
L’Anse Electric Power customers who are interested in purchasing panels can stop at Village Hall, or go to the village website.
