L’Anse Summer Preparations Proceed

Despite last week’s heavy snowfall, L’Anse continues to prepare for the summer season.

At last night’s village council meeting, staff members reported that most of the amenities at Waterfront Park are now operating, including the fish cleaning station and restrooms. The floating dock at the marina is scheduled to be installed today. 

This will be the final year for that floating dock. A new one is expected to be delivered and installed late this summer.

Village Manager Bob LaFave reminded residents that the annual village clean-up will take place the week of May 22nd.
