L’Anse Summer Paving Projects Nearly Complete – Village Council Wrap

Two streets in L’Anse are a lot smoother, following completion of the village’s summer paving projects.

Crumbling pavement on Bayshore Drive south of Seifert Street, and on Fourth Street hill north of the L’Anse school campus, was recently replaced.

At last night’s council meeting, Village Manager Bob LaFave said contractors still need to complete some shoulder grading, but paving has been completed.

Council members also thanked first responders from the village, and around the county, for a successful community event Sunday afternoon at Waterfront Park. Vehicles from nearly every first response unit in the county were on display, and good community turnout was reported.
