L’Anse Plans Bendry/3rd St. Paving

One of L’Anse’s bumpiest streets is about to be smoothed out.

Last evening, the village council voted to proceed with taking bids on repaving the corner where Bendry Street meets North Third Street. Village manager Bob LaFave said he hopes the job can be done this fall.

Two other construction projects should be wrapping up soon. A new sidewalk has been installed along Seifert Street, where the road was torn up for sewer construction. Siefert Street and Center Street, where sewer work was also performed, should be repaved soon.
