The L’Anse Village Council heard an update about the upcoming Light Up Baraga County celebration.
Council member Leann Davis said there’s been a lot of interest in the Christmas parade.
Anyone can enter a float, with one big requirement…
They’re also hoping for a lot of big rigs…
The parade will be held on Main Street December 20th at 5:00, and will be followed by an appearance by Santa Claus at a community party at the L’Anse American Legion Hall.
If you’d like to enter a float or a big rig, sign up at the Baraga County Convention and Visitors Bureau office in L’Anse.
The Council also decided to cancel its scheduled meeting on December 23rd.
