Motorists can expect to find lane closures on the Portage Lake Lift Bridge this week.
The Michigan Department of Transportation will be conducting routine maintenance of the bridge between Houghton and Hancock tonight and tomorrow evening.
This work will require single-lane closures between 7 and 10 p.m. each day.
MDOT says the work will help ensure continued safe and reliable operation of the bridge.
