The Houghton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle accident Thursday morning on M-26 in Hubbell just after 3:00am.
A car driven by a Lake Linden woman lost control while heading west on M-26 and struck a power line pole near 12th Street.
The driver, who was the only occupant in the vehicle, was taken to Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital by Mercy Ambulance for treatment.
Her condition has not been reported.
Authorities say alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
