Lake Linden Issues Water “Let Run” Order

Customers of the Lake Linden water system are advised to run their water to prevent their pipes from freezing.

The system-wide Let Run order was issued by the Village of Lake Linden Water Utility effective immediately.

All customers should let a faucet in their house run in a steady stream the size of a pencil lead.

Residents are also reminded to let the water run until notice has been given to stop, even if there is warmer weather in the immediate future. Warm weather initially drives frost deeper into the ground.

Bills will be adjusted to an average consumption rate for the period.
