Lake Linden-Hubbell “Whiz Kids” At National eCybermissions Competition

The Whiz Kids from Lake Linden-Hubbell–Siona Beaudoin, Beau Hakala and Gabe Poirier–are set to go up against some of the best young minds in the country this week.

The eCybermissions team of 8th graders made it to the national competition in Washington D.C. this year and are spending this week in the capitol attending STEM workshops, sightseeing and presenting their project before the judges.

The project looked at various plants that could be used to cover stamp sand instead of topsoil.

The Whiz Kids are looking for the support of the local community.

The People’s Choice Award will be open to online voting this Thursday from 1:30 to 8:00pm.
