A local restaurant has caught the attention of the taste buds of a statewide publication.
Mlive.com has included La Cantina of Hancock as one of the 10 Best Mexican Restaurants in Michigan.
Sampling food at over 300 restaurants in the state, the food tasters visited La Cantina and praised them for their authentic dishes and generous portions of food.
The margaritas, salsa and guacamole also made quite the impression.
The restaurant was listed at Number 9, and was of two UP restaurants to make the list—Jose’s Cantina in St. Ignace was Number 5.
