Money isn’t a concern for the Keweenaw Science and Engineering Festival, but there is a need for people to help.
The update was given by Susie Landers to the Houghton City Council at their regular meeting Wednesday.
Landers said they have received a lot of financial support from the community and have already made their budget goals.
However, she said they are in dire need of volunteers.
If anyone has an hour or a full day they can help, they’re asked to contact the KSEF board.
The need is greatest on Friday and Saturday of the festival.
The event runs August 3rd through the 6th.
