The Kestner Waterfront Park in Houghton is the place to be this afternoon to enjoy a variety of STEM-themed activities.
It’s all part of the 2nd Annual Keweenaw Science and Engineering Festival.
Michigan Tech’s Center for Science and Environmental Outreach is putting on the Family Engineering Day with hands-on challenges for the whole family.
The event runs from noon to 3:00pm.
Starting at 7:00pm, Century 21 North Country Agency Summer Concert Series begins, featuring a live musical performance by the Boodie Creek Band at Kestner Waterfront Park.
Or, if you still want to squeeze a little more science into your evening, the popular Science Pub Crawl will be taking place at various restaurants and pubs in Downtown Houghton.
The event begins at 7:00pm at the Downtowner Lounge.
