The 2nd Annual Keweenaw Science and Engineering Festival begins next week with another packed schedule of STEM-themed events.
Festival board member Susie Landers says people are really excited this time around because they know what to expect.
The four-day event opens with the Layers of Superior Art Exhibit in the lobby of the Great Lakes Research Center on August 3rd, with things really taking off on Thursday with the Family Engineering Event, live music and the popular pub crawl.
Having so many people downtown for the pub crawl last year not only means it was a great time, but good for the city as well.
There are many other events, including the Great Lakes Research Water Festival, Teen Science Night and the Mind Trekkers Expo.
