Keweenaw Manufacturers to Benefit from State Grants

Two Copper Country businesses are receiving state help to upgrade their technology.

Calumet Electronics and L’Anse Manufacturing will each get $25,000 from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation’s Industry 4.0 Technology Implementation Grant program.

Each company will need to provide equal matching funds toward manufacturing technology upgrades.

Calumet Electronics makes precision printed circuit boards for a number of applications. L’Anse Manufacturing provides high-quality machining services.
