KEDA and Main Street Calumet Seek Funding From Michigan Economic Development Corporation

The Keweenaw Economic Development Alliance is working with Main Street Calumet, to prepare an application for $50,000 of funding from Michigan’s Economic Development Corporation.

The funds, if awarded, can be disbursed to businesses in the Village of Calumet’s Downtown Development Authority, negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Eligible businesses must have a brick and mortar storefront, be headquartered in Michigan, have 25 or fewer employees, and have not received or been approved for MSF Small Business relief funding, or an MEDC Match or Main Grant, within the last 24 months.

Jeff Ratcliffe, Executive Director of the Keweenaw Economic Development Alliance explained the application.

If you’d like to apply, you have until the end of the day, this Friday.
