KBIC Receives Law Enforcement Grants

The Keweenaw Bay Indian Community is receiving more than a million dollars from the federal government to support its law enforcement efforts.

$720,000 from the Tribal Victim Services Set-Aside Program will be used to expand victim support services. $298,735 from the Adam Walsh Act Grant Program will help with implementation of the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act.
