Baraga County Communities That Care is in need of materials to build two Lending Libraries.
One library is for the Village of L’Anse and the other is for the Village of Baraga.
They have received some of the needed donations, but not enough to cover the expense of the entire project.
Supplies still needed include:
• 3/4” plywood
– (4) 26″ X 11.5″
– (4) 12.5″ x 26.25″
– (2) 20.75″ x 20″
– (2) 20.75 x 11.75″
– (2) 9″ x 15″
– (2) 9″ x 9″
– (2) 9″ x 12″
• Solid Lumber (Thickness = 3/4” x 1.5”)
– (2) 1.5″ x 22.75″
– (4) 1.5″ x 16.5″
– (4) 1.5″ x 21.5″
– (4) 1.5″ x 17″
• Solid Lumber (Thickness = 3/4” x 2.5”)
– (2) 2.5″ x 22.75″
• Plexi-glass for door
– (2) Pieces Approximately 20″ x 20″
• Self closing hinges.
– (4) Hinges (close flat – with hardware to install)
• Door Latch
– (2) TBD – hook and closure (with hardware to install)
• Screws or nails for assembly
– 150 +/- Wood or pocket Screws or Flat head Nails
• Roofing Material
– TBD (Cedar Shakes / tin pieces / metal rroofing / copper flashing / roofing tiles) with appropriate installation hardware
– TBD Some type of Ridge Cap
• Post for installation
– (2) 4″ x 4″ x 60″ long
– (2) 24″ x 24″ Boards for installation shelf
– (4) Angle Brackets for installation shelf (can be wood)
