Isle Royale Delays Opening Again

Keeping in line with guidelines set forth by the White House, CDC and State of Michigan, Isle Royale National Park has delayed their seasonal opening until further notice.

Ferry service for Ranger III, Voyageur II, Sea Hunter III and Royal Queen IV will not be running this year.

The Rock Harbor Lodge along with overnight lodging, dining, marina services, gift shops and stores will be closed for the season as well.

Public Information Officer Liz Valencia.

Despite the park being closed, you can still fish in Lake Superior waters, within the park’s boundaries, although you must be self-sufficient, as all facilities will be closed.
