The City of Houghton is asking residents to be aware that they have scheduled a city-wide hydrant flushing that will take place next week, Monday through Saturday.
Work will be done from 7:00 am until 3:00 pm each day.
This means residents may find their water supply discolored during that time.
City officials say running your cold water for a short period of time should correct this condition.
