More than two dozen republicans voted with democrats in a rare Saturday session, in hopes of stopping the U.S. Postal Service from allegedly disrupting mail service to sabotage the November elections.
The democrat led House passed a bill that would infuse $25 billion into the Postal Service, as they prepare for an influx of mail-in ballots in November’s general election.
Despite the bill passing by a wide margin, the bill is not expected to make it through the Senate.
