Houghton Science Teacher To Talk About NASA Program Experience

The public is invited to hear a presentation about a local teacher’s experience at a summer program at NASA.

Houghton Middle School science teacher Sarah Geborkoff will talk about her participation in the 2019 NASA LiftOff Educator program at Johnson Space Center, Houston TX.

Teachers increased their knowledge of working and living in space while visiting scientists and engineers in the Astromaterials Lab and current and former astronauts.

They visited several labs and facilities at Johnson Space Center including the Space food lab, ISS Mission Control, and Neutral Buoyancy.

Geborkoff will give her presentation at the Portage Lake District Library on Wednesday, August 14th at 6pm.
